HISTORY FILE
This delightful example was registered new on 17th August 1983 by Ford Main Dealer, Bristol Street Motors and was one of the very last Mk1 Fiesta’s before the introduction of the Mk2 variant which went on sale the very same month. The car has covered just 53,542 miles from new with only three owners. Correspondence in the history file explains the car being owned by Mrs Hartshorne followed by her husband before being sold to Mr Simpson in 2008 who has owned it ever since.
The history file consists of the original Bristol Street Motors document wallet holding all handbooks, guides, dealership point of sale literature and the service book containing 14 stamped entries. Since Mr Simpson took ownership in 2008 the car has been annually serviced each year without fail by the same garage with the most recent service in December 2022 with less than 250 miles covered since. In October 2022 the car was subject to a full brake inspection and overhaul including brake fluid change. A brand-new fitted radiator and coolant flush has also been carried in October 2022. A large folder of service and maintenance invoices as well as previous MOT certificates complete the history file along with two sets of keys and an original 1983 Ford range brochure.
This brilliant, bright and fun Mk1 Fiesta Ghia is wanting for nothing and with Ford now discontinuing the Fiesta, a prime opportunity to grab a slice of motoring history!
